eBay (NASDAQ:EBAY) recently announced a new partnership this time with Sellbrite, a multi-channel ecommerce inventory and order management solution provider, to offer eBay sellers another free service and better online selling experience across multiple channels.
The partnership will provide sellers a direct new way to integrate with eBay and multiple ecommerce shopping cart platforms, including WooCommerce, BigCommerce and Shopify in order to further enable them to do business across multiple selling platforms. The giant ecommerce marketplace says this move is intended to help sellers continue to do what matters most: grow their business.
“Sellers are the backbone of the eBay marketplace - when they succeed, we succeed,” said Bob Kupbens, Vice President of Business-to-Consumer (B2C) Selling at eBay, in a post announcing the partnership on the official eBay News blog. “We remain committed to making eBay the world's most powerful selling platform, and this partnership with Sellbrite is another example of how we are continuing to find ways to help our sellers streamline and scale their businesses.”
eBay and Sellbrite Partnership to Help Sellers Streamline and Scale their Businesses
As part of this new partnership, Sellbrite will enhance its already comprehensive service that enables direct integration with eBay accounts to provide sellers member-to-member messaging and notifications that ensures no communications is lost between platforms.
Beyond providing messaging and notifications, Sellbrite will also offer new eBay sellers four months of free service for inventory listings, management, fulfillment and reporting to help new small to medium-sized businesses build their inventory and buyer network on multiple channels.
“Sellbrite has offered the best integration with eBay and several popular shopping carts for a few years now, so it's an honor to be selected by eBay for this partnership,” said Brian Nolan, co-founder and CEO of Sellbrite, which simplifies the way sellers manage their business through an integrated technology platform, in a press release announcing the eBay and Sellbrite partnership.
“eBay has been an important sales channel for our customers, driving significant revenue and visibility from hundreds of millions of buyers,” continued Nolan. “With this partnership, sellers large and small can easily add eBay's thriving marketplace as a sales channel and use Sellbrite to grow and manage their multi-channel business,” he concluded.
eBay Builds on Similar Strategic Partnerships
The new partnership builds on similar partnerships eBay announced earlier this year, including partnership with inkFrog, Magento and BigCommerce.
The partnership is also a continuation of eBay's efforts to make the selling process simpler and more transparent for its merchants, coming as it does soon after the giant ecommerce marketplace announced the implementing of new seller standards.
“We announced a partnership with BigCommerce to further our sellers' connections to multiple ecommerce platforms,” eBay wrote on its News blog.
The global ecommerce marketplace founded in 1995 in San Jose, Calif. also recently rolled out centralized seller tools for all sellers in the U.S. within one, convenient location in Seller Hub to increase efficiency.
