eBay Seller Hub Now Allows All U.S. Sellers to Manage Inventory on Single Dashboard

eBay Seller Hub Now Allows All U.S. Sellers to Manage Inventory on Single Dashboard

After months of testing and feedback, eBay (NASDAQ: EBAY) is finally rolling out its new selling tool - Seller Hub - to all U.S. Sellers with the intent to help them scale their businesses.

Seller Hub debuted last September in beta testing, with more than 200,000 initial sellers reportedly using the tool and providing feedback for improvements. After receiving ample feedback from beta testers, eBay said it has made enhancements so the Seller Hub is even more simple and effective for all.

eBay Seller Hub Available to all Sellers

Seller Hub puts all your listing and marketing tools - along with insights and selling recommendations - in one single dashboard, allowing you to manage your orders and inventory more efficiently. Now all U.S. businesses and professional sellers can take advantage of the “revolutionary” Seller Hub, eBay said.

“Seller Hub is eBay's first major step forward in making professional selling on eBay easier,” wrote Shan Vosseller, a Senior Director of Product Management at eBay, and the company's overall product lead for business-to-consumer selling, in a blog post announcing the roll out. “The user-friendly interface enables sellers to manage their inventory and orders, access valuable performance insights, identify opportunities for growth, and - most importantly - take advantage of ways to get their products in front of the right buyers faster, and more efficiently.”

Seller Hub, Designed to Help You Grow Your Business

According to Vosseller, eBay's goal is to ensure that sellers have simple, smart tools that can help them scale their businesses and find everything in one place. “We want to partner with and assist our sellers, and Seller Hub is an important new way to serve these goals,” he said on the company's official news blog.

Among the key resources Seller Hub provides are:

  • Easier management of inventory, orders and listings;

  • Performance insights and opportunities for growth; and

  • Easier business process management with detailed sales information.

Additionally, Seller Hub provides guidance for easily and quickly creating listings by leveraging eBay's catalog of structured data. “When it comes to creating a listing, speed and efficiency are paramount and through the new listing flow that Seller Hub provides, listing an item has never been easier, continued Vosseller.

Moreover, Seller Hub includes a Growth and a Marketing tab. “The Growth tab analyzes billions of data inputs and serves them up to sellers in smart, easy-to-use tools that help them research and increase the likelihood of sales,” Vosseller added. “With the Marketing tab, sellers can survey the impact of their current promotions, and then jump to manage their stores, create new promotions, or create promoted listings. Promoted listings can be displayed in a preferred placement for a fee that is only paid when an item ultimately sells.”

Although Seller Hub is ideally suited for professional sellers currently using My eBay Selling, Selling Manager or Selling Manager Pro, small businesses with any eBay Store subscription will be able to directly access eBay Seller Hub and take advantage of the tool's centralized dashboard with detailed reports to help you monitor your seller performance.

It's worth mentioning also that Seller Hub is free to use and will become the default tool for managing your listings on eBay, according to information on the official product page.
